China Demonstrates its Military Power While Promoting a Dialogue With the U.S.

  • (General Dispatch) – China seeks to resume negotiations with the U.S., under its current President Joe Biden. Even so, they wanted to show off in the media the massive military power they have.
  • The Global Times, a Chinese newspaper, reports that the Chinese liberation army “PLA” has achieved a breakthrough in all training to position China’s military power as the best in the world for favorable results in any war.
  • The Global Times did not go into details about how dictator Xi Jinping, who also includes the chairman of the central military commission, will implement the system, but the article hints that the practices to be carried out will be exercises that have occurred in real combat and simulations with the best technology, as well as following training patterns and laws to ensure victories in wars.
  • A military expert quoted in the Global Times said that training should be as identical as possible to real wars, which is why the Chinese government boasts that it is fully prepared for a possible war and demonstrates to the US that although it is not in actual wars, it can respond in full force to any war event.   • Historically, the U.S. has been one of the countries that has participated the most in wars, making it a bold power in this type of events. On the other hand, China has not been involved in a war for decades, so it shows its military muscle through training and applying systems that dissipate any type of mistake that could be made.

  • “We urge the United States to stop defaming the Communist Party of China and China’s political system, to stop colluding with or even supporting the wrong words and actions of the ‘Taiwan independence’ forces, and to stop undermining China’s sovereignty and security in the internal affairs related to Hong Kong, Xinjiang and Tibet,” Wang said.
  • Diplomatic relations between the two countries seem to be on the verge of resuming in a friendly and respectful dialogue, with the Trump administration remained in tension throughout his term in office over economic and political issues.
