79% of U.S. Representatives Support Classroom Education Training

  • By Jennifer Prill
  • (General Dispatch) – A large fraction of parents and representatives support the face-to-face education of their children, even though the coronavirus has transformed the system, and persists in maintaining it, a Gallup poll indicated.
  • In relation to the recent publication of the survey conducted last month, a total of 860 parents of children attending school stated that 8 out of 10 parents agree with the return to traditional classrooms.
  • It is worth noting that, according to the survey results, both parents who work long hours and those who have no work obligations were equally supportive of the option.
  • Consequently, the economic impact of the pandemic also stood out in the survey, as 13% of parents or guardians reduced their working day in order to provide care for their children. While 7% had to resign.
  • The closing of schools as a security measure to prevent the spread of the coronavirus was a measure that affected children psychologically.
  • It should be noted that the competent authorities and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are working and consider that the return to school should take place as soon as possible.
  • In other words, following the biosecurity strategies to avoid contagion and spread of the virus, it is expected that children will return to school in the coming months.
  • Both parents and their representatives are anxiously waiting to return to school to continue with their daily activities, but it is a hope that can only be achieved if covid-19 loses its power.
