- The marriage union is designed for a man and a woman, so accepting a gay union is not licit.
- The text also emphasized that this decision is not a discriminatory act, but a reminder of the truth.
- The Catholic Church is prepared to deal with homosexual persons who are also part of God’s creation. At the same time, they must be evangelized, the text indicated.
- In this sense, God’s blessing is given individually to each person and cannot be denied to any member.
