- (General Dispatch) – Recent study conducted by the National Threat Assessment Center of the U.S. Secret Service indicated that students who plan suicide attacks in schools tend to exhibit the same behavior as those who carry them out.
- One of the main reasons why these young people develop aggressive behavior is because they were physically and verbally abused, plunged into depression, and adopted behavior of such magnitude.
- Statistics projected during the study that at least 67 schools that thwarted acts of violence, coincide that people who execute mass shootings, present the same characteristics.
- “The findings show that there are almost always intervention points available before a student resorts to violence,” said Lina Alathari, director of the center.
