- (General Dispatch) – In order to commemorate the day of transgender visibility, President Joe Biden will raise this Wednesday from the White House the flag that identifies the transgender community.
- The information was released by the Director of Political Strategy and Outreach of the White House, Emmy Ruiz, who was pleased to celebrate this important date for the trans community.
- Through an allusion issued by social networks the director expressed: “Imagine being a trans child and feeling seen by the highest office in the country. And not only seen, but loved and cared for”.
- In this sense, “transgender visibility day” praises the generations that fight tirelessly to achieve a dignified and respectable place in American society.
- At the same time, the President of the nation brought to memory and recognition the “pioneering and hard-fought” efforts of activists for the transgender community to live authentically.
- The President also urged society to avoid acts of violence or any other discriminatory manifestations against transgender women and men.
- The achievements of the transgender community should not be overlooked, as they also contribute to the political, economic and social growth of the United States, said Vice President Harris.
- Therefore, he invited U.S. citizens to join the celebration that highlights the value and dignity of the transgender community.
