Steph Curry Destroys Thunder with 42 Points in the Third Quarter

- Curry hit a season-high 8-of-8 from the field and made a season-high six three-point attempts in the third quarter.
- Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he was amazed by the shooting and the skill and discipline of such a brilliant player.
- This is Curry’s second consecutive game of making at least 10 three-pointers, the second time in his career so far.
- Commentators called the game Curry’s big night. After receiving multiple accolades for his performance.
- However, Golden State led 36-32 at the end of the first quarter; in the second quarter they took a 75-54 lead into the break.
- Given the noticeable tension during the game one of the point guards expressed that, “we are in the middle of a playoff race and we have been looking for momentum all season long.”
- The team hopes to continue achieving their goals to lead the championship this season, while they will continue to face new games in the coming days.
