Michael Jordan to Induct Kobe Bryant into NBA Hall of Fame

  • By Joergen Haisem
  • (General Dispatch) – Media reported that famous NBA player Michael Jordan will represent Kobe Bryant at the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in May.
  • Hall of Fame officials issued a list of players who would like to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and Kobe had named Jordan or Phil Jackson as the candidates.
  • Jordan upon learning of such a decision, feelings consumed him; he began to cry for the loss of Kobe and his daughter, and issued for more than 10 minutes some words praising the player in Los Angeles in 2020.
  • Among those words Jordan said “as I look around this arena and around the world, a part of you died, or else you wouldn’t be here. Those are the memories we have to live with and learn from. I promise you that from this day forward I will live with the memories of knowing that I had a little brother that I tried to help in any way I could.”
  • Although the event has been delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, it is scheduled to take place in mid-May, and Jordan will also introduce former basketball player and Coach Kim Mulkey, who brought two Olympic medals to the United States.
  • Former San Antonio Spurs player Timothy Theodore Duncan, known as “Tim Duncan,” will be introduced by David Robinson, and Kevin Garnett of the Minnesota Timberwolves will be introduced by Isiah Thomas.
  • Despite the covid-19 the hall of fame will continue to award and honor great players for their prowess in the sport, including coaches along with the “Harlem Globetrotters” team.
