- By Steph. G. Halston.
- (General Dispatch) – The extent to which the covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the United States has caused supply to outstrip demand, and for this reason, interest in getting vaccinated has declined.
- Initially, several U.S. cities have requested that doses be shipped to them in small quantities because the demand for vaccine is derisory.
- Health Department officials have reported that many people simply do not want to be vaccinated.
- While Americans take the privilege of refusing the vaccine, around the world many nations are clamoring for immunization today.
- The cause probably stems from the constant rumors that some vaccines are producing side effects such as the formulation of blood clots.
- Similarly, several counties have joined the vaccine resistance, arguing that they are afraid and would rather not take the risk.
- Likewise, demonstrations by various family groups also oppose the administration of the vaccine, claiming that their religious beliefs do not allow them to access the immunization process.
- Although the massive administration of vaccines promised by Joe Biden on May 1st has not yet arrived, Americans are beginning to refrain from being part of the population protected against the coronavirus.
