Taliban Attacks in Afghanistan Increase in the Face of Joe Biden’s Slow Withdrawal

  • By Joergen Haisem
  • (General Dispatch) – The Taliban increase their attacks against Afghanistan as U.S. troops break camp to formally withdraw in September.
  • Three Afghan security personnel were killed while a Quran recitation contest was in progress when a Taliban rocket surprised them.
  • In addition, constant attacks on civilians have been notorious in recent weeks; all indications are that the Taliban are preparing to commit more crimes in the absence of the U.S. military.
  • According to information presented by the Afghan Interior Minister, in the last eleven days, the Taliban have carried out 62 bomb attacks, 6 suicide attacks in which 63 people died and 180 were wounded.
  • Meanwhile, the U.S. military has already issued the withdrawal order, so the absence of the U.S. military in the country for the next few months is a fact.
  • However, Afghanistan deeply regrets that it will no longer have the support of the United States, which has provided them with greater security in recent years, as it will once again be vulnerable to Taliban attacks.
  • The context of foreign relations between the nations of the Middle East continues to deteriorate further and further, agreements are failing to be established in any perspective.
  • U.S. troops will finally arrive in the country in September and will execute the strategies that the White House will indicate to them, once they have left Afghanistan.
