- (General Dispatch) – Former patrol Chief Roy Villareal affirmed that border mafias are earning $14 million a day in revenue from the smuggling of adults and children.
- Roy said that immigrants are persuaded by these mafias to transport psychotropic substances as a way to pay the debt for trying to get them into the United States.
- On the other hand, minors are the most vulnerable, human trafficking has been a lucrative business and taxpayers have funded $5 million a day through taxes for border security.
- The Biden administration has issued several statements claiming that the border is not undergoing any crisis, and everything is under control, with the Border Patrol limited in providing any information.
- On the other hand, part of the money that the Biden administration receives from the taxpayers is being used to set up facilities to hold immigrant detainees.
- Since the facilities that are intended to house the migrants are at maximum capacity, creating overcrowding and accelerating the spread of the virus by not having adequate measures to address the pandemic.
- DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said that the border is going through a “difficult situation” and that the vast majority of minors detained according to have a relative in the U.S., and seek to meet their family member.
- For now it is expected that the Biden administration will implement some measure to lower the levels of immigration that every day becomes more complex.
