Islamic State Chief Sentenced to 10.5 Years in Prison

  • (General Dispatch) – A German court sentenced to 10.5 years in prison the head of the Islamic state Ahmad Abdulaziz Abdullah A, also known as Abu Walaa, for the crime of recruiting young people to carry out terrorist attacks.
  • Abu Walaa arrived in Germany in 2000 where he sought asylum for fleeing from Iraq, he was dedicated to professing the word of Islam through the networks obtaining great reputation, being one of the most important figures for the extremist Islamic state.
  • His arrest involved four other ISIS members who were sentenced to between five and eight years in prison for recruiting young men to join the jihad in Iraq and other ISIS areas.
