- (General Dispatch) – French media reported that a policewoman lost her life after being seriously injured in an attack by a migrant from Tunisia.
- The attack was carried out at the police station in the commune of Rambouillet, where the migrant, aged about 36 years, attacked the officer in the throat with a knife, which caused her to lose her life.
- At the moment the crime took place, a member of the police who was nearby opened fire on the murderer, in an attempt to stop him, but the bullet impacts caused the man to die on the spot.
- According to Le Parisien media reported that the man had entered France since 2009, but had no criminal record, apart from maintaining a legal immigration status.
- The attack will be investigated by the national anti-terrorist prosecution team, but so far it has not been stated what was the motive for the migrant to carry out the attack.
- On the other hand the media said that the 40-year-old police officer, a mother of two, was just returning from her break when the migrant took her life with the attack.
- Rambouillet, a quiet town, is shocked by the incident and its inhabitants are crying out for justice for a life lost without apparent justification.
