- (General Dispatch) – Nigeria’s government jurisdiction closed at least 618 schools in six of its northern states to safeguard students from the constant threat of kidnappings by Islamic terrorists.
- The nation’s government was alarmed when a group of terrorists were caught by competent authorities in the kidnapping of 307 children, which was thwarted and led to the authorities’ decision.
- Internal Security Commissioner Samuel Aruwan informed the press that the incident took place this weekend and fortunately did not have any major consequences.
- Consequently, the students were taken to safety, and the information was quickly spread to prevent other educational institutions from being endangered, suspending school activities.
- In other reports, 39 students were taken by surprise by criminal groups, for which there has been no response so far. Therefore, the population remains alert to the constant threat.
- The deterioration in the nation’s security continues to progress, the previous week 300 girls were also abducted from a secondary school, in the process of their release the criminals shot at the parents of the students.
- The rise of organized crime in Nigeria is spreading without the authorities being able to do anything.
- It is likely that these events are a lucrative business for the terrorist groups, which have no other financing mechanism.
