Study Reveals Drug Mitigates Virus Resurgence

  • By Wayne Rodrigo
  • (General Dispatch) – A new study reveals that the application of a drug containing antibodies contributes greatly to mitigate covid-19, and in turn prevent disease.
  • The determination of the study was released by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, which shows that tests performed on 4,000 patients diagnosed with covid-19 used drugs combined with antibodies reduced the risk of death by 70%.
  • Shockingly, one of the effects produced by the virus is the development of other serious diseases as a consequence. However, the level of risk was considerably reduced.
  • It should be noted that the study has not been published or evaluated by independent scientists. The company continues to study every step of the scope of this combination.
  • In the meantime, doctors are warning U.S. citizens to be cautious because despite the achievements, the virus continues to wreak havoc in the world, and a resurgence in Europe means a resurgence in the nation.
  • Meanwhile, the European Union continues to dispute the scope of the AstraZeneca vaccine, and the side effects it may cause, largely halting immunization in their countries.
  • The United States, on the other hand, is developing the distribution of the vaccine considering age ranges from oldest to youngest, taking into account the levels of risk of contagion.
  • Independent studies are expected to be carried out soon to determine more effectively the scope and incorporate it in treatments against the coronavirus.
