- During the nighttime hours, the Border Patrol notices the remarkable sounds emanating from the immigrants who use different types of strategies to cross the border across the river.
- Probably the main means to which they resort are the rafts, which carry at least a hundred people at each crossing. Including children and adults.
- According to the investigations, it could be a criminal group operating in Mexican territory, because the immigrants have been seen with some kind of identification in their hands.
- At the other extreme, there is evidence of the danger posed to the migrants when entering at night, when the water currents can sweep the children away and they cannot be seen because of the darkness.
- A heartbreaking story was told in an interview with a 7 year old girl, who was robbed by one of the smugglers, losing her cell phone in which she had registered the address book of her mother, whom she could not contact in North America.
- According to Border Patrol statements, stories of this type are found everywhere, every citizen who crosses the border carries a story with them, they are survivors.
- In the meantime, the Texas border control agencies are not enough to handle the large wave of immigrants who every day try to cross the border without being seen.
