Commercial Activities such as Cafes, Pubs, and Restaurants Will Be Forced to Reopen in England

  • By Steph. G. Halston
  • (General Dispatch) –   England is being pressured by a large number of customers requesting that this coming April 12th places such as cafes, pubs and restaurants reopen their commercial establishments.
  • A measure that requests the registration in a database is an essential requirement for people who wish to visit these restaurants in the next few days.
  • According to information provided by the BBC, the establishments have been operating with economic losses due to two reasons, firstly the restrictive measures of the pandemic, and secondly the poor internet connectivity to make payments.
  • Several partners of the companies that provide catering services have expressed their dissatisfaction with the executive policies implemented by the government, because it makes their performance even more difficult.
  • In this regard, the possibility is looming that citizens must also present the negative test against covid-19 to access certain public places.
  • Citizens assure that the measures being implemented are really exaggerated, generating much more complication in the attempt to return to everyday life.
  • Accordingly, “a government spokeswoman said, “Public health rules are kept under constant review and we are providing as much flexibility as possible for pubs and other hospitality businesses.”
  • The government has already drawn up the roadmap that will continue to regulate society in order to mitigate the effects of covid-19 and its variants.
