Limbaugh’s passing bashed on Twitter, celebrated with the hashtag #RestInPiss

• (General Dispatch) — Rush Limbaugh, the Conservative Radio Icon, died on Wednesday morning and Leftists cheered over his death by driving the hashtag #RestInPiss on Twitter.
• Shortly after Kathryn Adams Limbaugh announced: “We, the Limbaugh family, are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved Rush has died,” phrases like “Good Riddance,” “Rot in Hell,” and “Rest in Piss” started to trend on their platform.
• The hashtag #RestInPiss has currently garnered roughly 2000 tweets and critics are saying that Twitter allowed the hashtags and mocking phrases over the death of the Talk Radio Legend.
• The host of ‘The Rush Limbaugh Show’ for 32 years had lost his battle on stage 4 lung cancer on February 17 and Kathryn stated in her post: “Rush Hudson Limbaugh III will forever be the greatest of all time, a courageous, brilliant gentle giant and radio pioneer. Our entire family is so thankful to everyone who prayed and cared for Rush, especially the audience he adored. Rush’s love for our country, and for all of you, will live on eternally.”
• On the other hand, the hashtag #RestinPiss has currently garnered roughly 2000 tweets.
• A named Charlotte Clymer tweeted: “If Rush Limbaugh deserves credit for anything, it is his pioneering work in spreading disinformation and directly enabling our nation’s current state of vast distrust of experts and spurning of good faith in the public discourse. He will not be missed by rational adults.”
• “Rush Limbaugh was one of the most harmful and poisonous people in the modern United States of America. His pursuit of wealth and power hurt untold numbers of people and wrought incalculable damage to politics as a public good, society as a whole, and the planet itself.” Jared Yates Sexton added.
• The provocative Talk Radio Luminary, who got the leading voice on American political right since the 1980s, was honored by former President Donald Trump by awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
• Limbaugh’s style of promoting conservativism made his show nationally syndicated in 1988 and quickly built him a large number of followers, making him wealthy in the process.
• According to Limbaugh’s website, his show was heard on more than 600 US stations by up to 27 million people weekly.
• According to Forbes, Limbaugh was paid $85 million in 2020.
