Prince Philip dies at 99 years of age

  • (General Dispatch) – Buckingham Palace announced early Friday the unfortunate passing of Prince Philip at the age of 99.
  • The loyal friend, husband and companion of Queen Elizabeth II physically leaves Buckingham Palace and the royal family this Friday, April 9.
  • After almost a century of life, the prince dedicated his best years to the affairs related to the administration of the Palace. He was born into a Greek royal family.
  • His life was framed around advancing British interests both at home and abroad, eventually accomplishing at least 20,000 matters related to the realm.
  • The prince was known for his racist and sexist comments, which were part of his eloquent personality.
  • He also founded a large number of charities that helped many people at the time, just as he did an excellent job as a father of a family.
  • Let’s remember that Prince Philip was hospitalized during these last months due to the health problems he was facing, returning again to Windsor Castle on March 16.
  • In the next few hours the Royal Palace will announce the protocol of the funeral acts that will be carried out to pay the last tribute to the late Prince Philip.
