The Rock Does Not Rule Out The Possibility Of Running For President of The United States In The Future.

  • By Anton Grillo
  • (General Dispatch) – The former WWE star said in a recent interview that the possibility of running for president of the United States is still open if that’s what the people want.
  • It is not the first time that the superstar lets know his intentions to opt for the presidency, in 2017 in an interview on The Ellen Show, the actor assured to have considered participating in the presidential elections of that year.
  • It has become a tradition to ask Dwayne Johnson this question at election time so Vanity Fair asked him if he would participate in the 2020 elections to which he replied that he “wouldn’t rule it out,” although in the end it did not happen.
  • Jhonson expressed his support for the presidency of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2020, although he also confessed that throughout his life he has voted for both parties (Republican and Democrat), always trying to choose the best option.
  • Days after the 2020 presidential election, Johnson said he shed  “manly tears” for the Democratic victory.
  • “I got a little emotional yesterday, manly tears of course, I may have cried a tear or two, or ten, but they were all very manly. All my tears are manly,” Jhonson said in a video he shared on his social networks.
  • For now it seems that the star is happy with who is running the country today, so his focus will remain on the movies.
  • Will we again see a superstar running for president of the United States like Kanye West? For now we can only wait for the 2024 elections which are looking interesting.
