- (General Dispatch) – Biden administration deputy press secretary Tj Ducklo was recently accused of intimidating a journalist over an article about a personal relationship.
- Vanity Fair was in charge of making public the news where it is assured that Ducklo threatened to destroy and ruin the reputation of the reporter Tara Palmeri if she published the story about his old relationship with Axios reporter Alexi McCammond.
- Ducklo’s comments to Palmeri, which were made off-the-record, allegedly didn’t stop there, according to the report. He also accused Palmeri of being “jealous” that an unknown man “wanted to fuck” McCammond instead of her, according to Vanity Fair.
- “TJ Ducklo has apologized to the reporter, with whom he had a heated conversation about his personal life; he is the first to acknowledge this is not the standard of behavior set out by the President. In addition to his initial apology, he has sent the reporter a personal note expressing his profound regret.” Reported Jan Psaki, White House Press Secretary via Twitter.
- In addition, Psaki announced that Ducklo will not receive a week’s salary and will never be assigned to work with “politico” journalists, in response to the unfortunate situation.
- The Vanity Fair report also leaked that Ducklo sent an apology email to reporter Palmeri at the direction of the Biden administration, although they did not elaborate on the details of the email.
- So far the reporter Tara Palmeri, has not commented on the situation neither has the media for which she works, but the expressions of solidarity on the part of the profession have not been long in coming.
- For now, it seems to be the end of this situation in which Ducklo and the Biden administration are under scrutiny for their actions.
