  • (General Dispatch) –  According to a survey conducted in Taiwan, 75% of the population is against receiving the vaccine created by China, citizens have said they are afraid of the possible side effects it may generate.
  • The Taipei-based Chinese Elite Leadership Association conducted a survey through networks around 1100 Taiwanese aged 18 to 23 “76.1 percent of respondents said they are not willing to accept Chinese-made vaccines, and only around 19 percent said they would” said the association.
  • Forty-three percent said they were willing to accept Chinese vaccine while being members of the Chinese nationalist political party of the Republic of China, which was created in 1911 in the Xinhai Revolution.
  • 62% of respondents refuse to allow Taiwan to import the Chinese vaccine, and 25% are in favor. Although the CCP has tried to assure its effectiveness through the networks, the results have not been entirely favorable.
  • There are cases of immunized people in China, who have died apparently due to side effects, complicating the respiratory system of the patients, but these cases are under investigation.
  • Because of such events Taiwan’s Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shih-chung said that no importation of the Chinese vaccine will take place, citing “lack of data on its efficacy and safety, as well as restrictions under current laws,” the CNA reported.
  • CoronaVac the vaccine developed by Sinovac Biotech, was approved by the CCP for emergency cases in February, they have recommended that it not be used in patients over the age of 60, although these are the minimum requirements, the Chinese vaccine will have to go through further testing, making its citizens like people worldwide feel completely safe to immunize themselves voluntarily
