Coronavirus Death Rate in India Continues to Rise

  • By Wayne Rodrigo
  • (General Dispatch) –  The New Delhi Ap media reported that death rates continue to rise for the third consecutive day since the announcement of the new wave of Covid-19 in India.
  • One man’s account Rajendra Karan said that his father was experiencing respiratory problems, and he attempted to take him immediately to a government hospital in his car.
  • However, they did not attend to his father until they had the approval of the hospital director. While trying to perform the procedure, Karan’s father was left without vital signs in the car.
  • The lack of control generated by the virus in all sectors has caused hospital care to be influenced by bureaucracy, leaving aside the low-income population.
  • So far the figures announced are 200,000 deaths, but it is presumed that there are still a large number of deaths that have not been declared, including people who have died in their homes.
  • This shows the mismanagement of the government in declaring the death rate, it was inexplicable how a nation of 1.4 billion people would have less deaths compared to the data provided by Brazil and Mexico.
  • The nation came to have security after the covid cases decreased since September, now with this new rebound it has generated a great complication where a great part of the inhabitants can be saved and it is not being fulfilled.
  • The hospital centers are at maximum capacity, the staff is doing their best trying to work overtime, and they are waiting for foreign help that has sent medical teams to attend the patients.
