- (General Dispatch) – After 20 years of fighting, the United States is ending its perpetual war in “Afghanistan” by withdrawing this Saturday the last 3,000 soldiers who were in combat.
- After the announcement made by President Joe Biden, the troops began the withdrawal from the camps and are now on their way back to the United States.
- It is important to emphasize that this action executed by President Biden is the result of a work previously carried out by his predecessors, which this year 2021 is being carried out and should be completed before September.
- Years of war have characterized this tragedy that took the lives of hundreds of American soldiers in all this time, and that protected the Afghans in a certain way.
- A retrospective framed in terrorist crimes that since September 11 of that fatal day, forced the United States to move its troops to Afghanistan to mitigate the criminal strategies.
- Although the withdrawal of troops has not been 100% completed, the Taliban have been at large, with bomb attacks and deaths almost daily in cities linked to the terrorist group.
- This was a strategy that cost the United States millions of dollars over the last 20 years, but which is finally coming to an end, to write another chapter of history, in which it is hoped that there will be peace and quiet.
- In this sense, once the lifting of the troops has taken place, the criminal capacity of the Taliban and its allies should not be underestimated, and it is hoped that this does not represent new conflicts and terrorist attacks for the United States.
