- (General Dispatch) – In a recent op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, former White House advisor Jared Kushner invited President Joe Biden not to abandon the diplomatic policy designed by Donald Trump for the Middle East.
- Far from criticizing Biden’s rapprochement with the Iranian regime, he called on the current administration to continue the previous administration’s strategic line to ensure peace.
- Although Biden persists in a foreign policy rapprochement with China as his main ally, the achievements obtained in the Middle East should not be overlooked.
- After having achieved six peace agreements between the people of Israel and Morocco, the Arab Emirates, Kosovo, Bahrain and Sudan. The strengthening of these relations cannot be forgotten.
- One of the political attractions that the current administration has with Iran in its rapprochement should not be missed, as multiple agreements may arise from this relationship.
- In this perspective, Kushner advises Biden to reward Saudi Arabia for its role as peacemaker, and for persuading the regime in its drive towards normalcy with Israel.
- He also warned that the table is set; it only remains to play the right cards to obtain greater achievements in the coming years.
- It is clear that great achievements have been made on previous occasions, but this is a golden opportunity for the Biden administration to calm the storms in the Middle East.
