- (General Dispatch) – In a recent interview, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said that the world urgently needs more entrepreneurs like Elon Musk.
- Gates told CNBC’s on Thursday: “I think what Elon’s done with Tesla is fantastic. It’s, you know, probably the biggest single contribution to showing us that electric cars are part of how we solve climate change.”
- “Elon’s done a carbon capture prize, which is an amazing thing, I think he should be very proud of what he’s done.” Gates said.
- Gates, I assure you that what Musk is doing is incredible. Elon Musk said via twitter that he would donate 100 million dollars to whoever offered him the best technology to capture carbon dioxide.
- Bill Gates has always been committed to making the world a much more self-sustaining place, and in one of his last speeches he said the world should move to synthetic meat consumption in an effort to reduce carbon emissions.
- Despite the resounding rejection of his proposal, Gates assures that humanity will gradually move towards this type of consumption.
- The interview, which was full of praise for Elon Musk, took place within the framework of the presentation of the Microsoft magnate’s new book “How to Avoid a Climate Disaster”, in which, as its title explains, he calls for a collective conscience to save the planet.
- For his part, Musk continues to explore and venture into different experimental technologies, making his companies (Tesla, Space X, PayPal) among the most profitable in the market today.
