- (General Dispatch) – Dr. Fauci on Tuesday advised Americans to stay home, and not to eat out or go to theaters even if they have already been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
- Fauci assured that in the United States there are still high infectious levels of coronavirus, so a massive return of people to public activity would be a great risk.
- “There are things, even if you’re vaccinated, that you’re not going to be able to do in society: for example, indoor dining, theaters, places where people congregate, that’s because of the safety of society.” Fauci Said
- “We hope that when the data comes in, it’s going to show that the virus level is quite low and you’re not transmitting it, we don’t know that now.” He assured
- On the other hand, other medical authorities in the U.S. have also called on the population to exercise restraint and remain calm, since the Coronavirus is still a reality and the entire population is not immunized.
- Acting administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Andy Slavitt invites United States citizens to take the vaccine.
- “They don’t want to be sick and they don’t want to die,And that is a very important benefit that people don’t often talk about quite as much but that the public, we believe, clearly understands.” Slavitt said
- Vaccination efforts continue worldwide and it is expected that by summer the vast majority of Americans will have received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine.
