Le Pen Possible Winner of French Presidential Election in 2022

  • By Wayne Rodrigo
  • (General Dispatch) – According to the former French minister Arnaud Montebourg, he believes that the minister Marine Le Pen may be the winner in the elections to be held in 2022.
  • Montebourg pointed out that the minister may have a wide advantage, after the current president Emmanuel Macron has been an arrogant political figure, his attitude is not pleasant with the citizens.
  • Apart from the fact that he put forward a totally false project for the nation, he won the previous elections by making voters believe that his political position was in favor of the extreme right.
  • On the other hand, the bad management he has developed in the pandemic has caused his reputation levels to decrease, due to the large number of cases that are being admitted to hospitals.
  • Surveys have shown that the current president and the minister Le Pen in the first round of the elections maintain similar data, even though it would be necessary to wait for the second round which is face to face.
  • The figures position Le Pen at 27% and Emmanuel Macron at 24%, but these percentages can change, according to the way the candidates perform in the debates.
  • In the 2017 election Le Pen lost by a considerable margin in the second round to her opponent Macron, voters changed their minds despite studies revealing that the candidate would emerge victorious.
