- (General Dispatch) – Freezing temperatures, continuous storm scourges and statewide power outages are what Texas residents have been experiencing for the past four days in a row.
- In spite of the fact that the numbers of injured, victims and dead are rising, the leader of the White House has not yet made any public pronouncement or taken any public action to resolve the situation.
- In a recent public appearance in Milwaukee, the president said nothing on the subject but addressed reporters as follows: “You’re in the cold so late. It’s a hell of a job description you have.”
- Biden, who claimed to bring back “empathy” to the White House, has not issued any statement in support of the people of Texas who are living through this natural disaster that for now does not seem to be slowing down.
- According to White House spokespersons, the president-elect communicated Tuesday with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards (D), Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D), Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly (D), Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee (R), Mississippi Gov.Tate Reeves (R), and Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R).
- Although no details were given about the call or what kind of support they will receive from the U.S. government, it was assured that he and the first lady are praying for the people of Texas.
- The Biden administration’s focus appears to be on other issues that were flagship issues in his campaign such as the coronavirus, immigrant policies, and mass vaccinations.
- We are still waiting for a statement from President Joe Biden with a clear plan of support for the people of Texas, to date many sectors continue without electricity, drinking water and many more without homes destroyed by the storm.
