- (General Dispatch) – Polls have stated that Biden’s popularity continues to decline due to his ineffective measures implemented to solve the serious border crisis.
- A new poll conducted by Fox News states that the situation has worsened compared to the former Trump administration, 46% say the border is in chaos, 15% say the situation has improved and 33% say they have seen no change on the border.
- In another poll the percentages were similar when citizens were asked how they viewed border security, where 51% disapprove of Biden’s management, as opposed to 35% who say the situation is normal.
- Currently the situation has become even more complex, the numbers are increasing rapidly every day, and border security has been limited due to the lax measures implemented by Biden.
- However, a large part of the population has expressed its concern in other types of surveys, with percentages that should be taken into account, 67% are focused on immigration at the border, this being the main issue.
- But the public continues to voice their displeasure with the Biden administration on other “top” issues such as the economy (78 percent), gun laws (74 percent) and health care (73 percent), but ahead of others such as voter suppression (60 percent), voter fraud. (59 percent), being able to pay bills (58 percent) and climate change (57 percent) “ said the News pollster.
- The big debate is why Biden does not act at the root of the problem, reaching an agreement with Central American countries to improve the quality of life directly and thus avoid the number of immigrants seeking a better opportunity in the United States.
- However, Biden has preferred to use the measure of “catch and release” generating a lack of control both in the border authorities and those states that have had to deal with immigrants who have tested positive for the coronavirus.
