- In spite of the reality of the border as reported by different sources of information, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, refuses to accept that the border is immersed in a crisis.
- It is worth noting that Texas Democratic Representative Vicente Gonzalez strongly criticized the deliberate passage of immigrants at the border, where at least 5,000 people who were waiting to enter the country succeeded in doing so.
- Events like this serve as an incentive for thousands of immigrants to try to enter the country in the near future, and by then, the situation would be catastrophic, said the representative.
- In other words, the crisis is increasing at the border with each passing day, without any type of intervention to overcome the problem.
- In retrospect, making an analysis from August 2019 to this moment at least 79,000 migrants have entered. Figures that are really alarming.
- Therefore, the real statistics of the entry of migrants are not being truthfully disclosed. They are questionable given the severity of the crisis.
- Evidently, this news will continue to be part of the national newspapers, because so far no forceful actions have been implemented.
