- (General Dispatch) – Although China has been one of the countries that have made great promises to reduce carbon dioxide emissions to zero by 2060, they were the only ones to increase pollution worldwide.
- The report was made by the IEA, which stated that the Asian country was the only one to increase energy demand and emit even more CO2, unlike the rest of the countries, which lowered their pollution level due to the pandemic.
- “Fossil fuel demand was the most affected in 2020, especially oil, which fell by 8.6%, and coal, which fell by 4%. The annual drop in oil was the largest in its history, and accounted for more than half of the fall in global emissions,” the IEA reported.
- China increased CO2 emissions by 7% in December 2020 alone and was the first power to exit the pandemic and remove controls. Great leaders have spoken out against China’s attitude of not wanting to preserve the planet.

- Why anyone would believe a Communist nation that is shrouded in secrecy is beyond me. We have been lied to at every turn. Now we are to believe anything, that is supposedly happening decades from now in China? I have to be blunt in saying someone is smoking something, or worse.
