Ted Cruz: Biden is not Transparent in his Policy

  • By Steph. G. Halston.
  • (General Dispatch) – Senator Ted Cruz of the Republican Party has sent a letter asking President Biden to allow him to be accompanied by the media in order to provide totally truthful and transparent information.
  • Cruz mentioned that he will make a visit to the border accompanied by 14 colleagues, the senator pointed out that the measures imposed by Biden have had no effect, being totally negative for the nation in terms of immigration.
  • At the border, between 4,500 and 6,000 immigrants have attempted to enter the U.S. through the border every day.
  • Obama’s former DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson is overwhelmed by the numbers of immigrants trying to enter the U.S. on a daily basis. Johnson stated that when he was in charge, the numbers being handled were 1000 per day and even then it was alarming, now he wonders how the current DHS Secretary is doing.
  • Cruz hopes to be able to dialogue with the authorities and issue a message of encouragement to those officials who may risk their lives, exposing themselves to the mafias that circulate on the border with Mexico, in addition to facing these cases in the midst of a health crisis.
  • Cruz is surprised that the Biden administration does not allow the media to enter, pointing out this attitude as “hypocritical” after press secretary Jen Psaki talks about information transparency every time in her interviews.
  • On the other hand, Breitbart News released information from a high-level DHS official on condition of anonymity, and said that they received orders not to issue any information about the situation at the border being direct orders from the White House.
  • Finally Cruz hopes to make the visit and give the information that all Americans are waiting for, to give them truthful information about the situation.
