- (General Dispatch) – Through a letter on Sunday, Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz warned Joe Biden that the American people “deserve to know the truth” about the border crisis.
- The letter was published on the social network Twitter, in which the legislator informed Biden that he plans to visit another detention center this Monday to verify the situation.
- Also, the representative said that although some members of the press are not interested in publicizing the events at the border avoiding recognizing the “humanitarian crisis” he is working towards a way out.
- Cruz said, “I again urge you to stop denying reality, face the consequences of your policies and allow the media access to these facilities to show the American people what is happening in this country.”
- However, the Republican senator criticized U.S. President Joe Biden for preventing him and some reporters accompanying him from accessing Dona’s facilities without any device with which they could gather information.
- Paradoxically, Republican senators are beginning to realize the reality and the multiple attempts to silence the press and any agency that wishes to reveal the truth on the border.
- However, the reality has reached every corner of the nation, the overcrowded facilities and child cages are now public knowledge. Despite the maneuvers employed by the Press Secretary.
- Finally, the senator concluded the letter with a call for reflection asking President Biden how far he intends to go with this human tragedy at the border.
