Children Thrown Over U.S. Border Wall

  • By Joergen Haisem
  • (General Dispatch) –  On March 30, two children were thrown 14 feet over the border fence separating Mexico from the U.S. Border Patrol managed to rescue them during the night.
  • The U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued a statement with more details, when human smugglers threw two girls, who presented serious physical injuries as a result of the fall.
  • The incident was evidenced through video cameras, where an officer reported that those involved in the incident performed the act and fled when the girls hit the ground.
  • The officers went to the site and the girls received help from the officers and were taken to a facility to receive medical attention.
  • The sisters are Ecuadorian nationals, ranging in age from 3 to 5 years old. The officers issued a report “The two girls were medically cleared and currently remain in temporary Border Patrol detention until they are placed by Health and Human Services.”
  • One of the officers Gloria I. Chavez said she was surprised at the way the smugglers treat the minors, if it had not been for the cameras, the girls could have been exposed for several hours in the desert climate.
  • On the other hand, the Border Patrol issued a report to the authorities in Mexico to identify those involved in the act, in order to enforce the law.
  • Biden’s policies have been criticized for trying to promote measures that support minors, being this the main factor, where the Mexican mafias try to enter the children without caring about their lives.
