Corporate Rejection of Republican-Led Ballot Bills in Texas

  • (General Dispatch) –   Currently, extensive lists of corporations that have changed their perspective reject the Republican Party’s guidelines for restricting the right to vote.
  • This Thursday, the alarming attempt of the Republican Party to reduce the alternatives to cast the vote and reduce the time period of the elections arrived in Texas. 
  • Corporations such as American Airlines did not take long to react to the measure imposed in Georgia, strongly opposing the Republicans to commit the same electoral misdeeds in this state.
  • It should be noted that the airline company urged the other entities in the country to speak out on the matter because bills of this nature cannot continue to be approved.
  • In contrast to Georgia, Texas does defend its corporate interests that influence the Capitol, and they know what is coming when facts like this are consolidated, said one of the opponents.
  • At the same time, Republican senators spoke out when they learned of the airline’s position, saying “Texans are fed up with corporations that don’t share our values trying to dictate public policy,” Patrick said in a statement.
  • Undoubtedly, the current White House administration intends to provoke an anarchic scenario in the regions of the United States, through the executive orders it issues, which in no way represents a benefit for Americans.
  • Meanwhile, groups devoted to defending electoral rights state that if this bill becomes law, electoral equity will be devastated.
