- (General Dispatch) – This Wednesday, the Pfizer Company assured that the vaccine produced by its factory is safe and reliable for adolescents 12 years of age, hoping that soon young people will begin to be immunized.
- Company representatives indicated that Pfizer has found a target audience that has been displaced in response to the emergency of the population most vulnerable to the coronavirus at adult ages.
- Based on a recent study, Pfizer was able to determine that currently adolescents also represent a considerable fraction of people infected by covid-19, affecting age ranges from 15 to 18 years old.
- The clinical trials are in their last phase, and it was mainly known that after receiving the second dose, the effects caused by the vaccine are fatigue, tiredness, fever, chills and fatigue.
- In this sense, the company has set as a goal to launch the vaccine to the market, so that young people are already immunized when they return to school this fall.
- In the meantime, Pfizer will issue a request to the FDA to evaluate the vaccine, since the competent agency has the authority to grant the company the authorization.
