- (General Dispatch) – The Paris AP media reported that all inhabitants of the United Kingdom will have to be tested for coronavirus twice a week, as announced by Minister Boris.
- Such a measure will be the solution to avoid the possible spread of new outbreaks of covid-19, being one of the many on the agenda of Minister Boris to gradually apply the easing of restrictions.
- Such tests may be applied free of charge, and thus be able to keep track of that part of the population that has not been infected with covid-19, the sites that will be available will be in pharmacies, workplaces, among others.
- Despite the fact that the test is different from the PCR, which apparently has greater efficacy, the British government has given the assurance of its result, even though 1 out of every 1000 applications fails.
- Health Minister Edward Argar said, “So it is still a very accurate test that can play a very important role in reopening our country and our businesses, because it is very easy to perform.”
- Minister Boris is assessing how to open different premises after strict measures were maintained for 3 months, these announcements are expected to be made in the next few days as it had been agreed to open the sites by April 12.
- Great Britain has managed to immunize a large part of its population through campaigns and the strong restrictions of confinement to which the population was subjected have given great results in the battle against the coronavirus.
- On the other hand, the application of the “vaccination passport” for entry to different places is being evaluated, even to be able to give permission to the inhabitants to travel internationally, but for now they are suspended due to the coronavirus law.
