Joe Biden’s 2022 Budget Contemplates Exorbitant Spending Program
- By John Deloria
- (General Dispatch) – This Friday, U.S. President Joe Biden sent an optional budget request to Congress pertaining to fiscal year 2022 that includes spending programs with exorbitant increases.
- In the first instance, the budget is structured by 769 billion dollars earmarked for non-defense spending, and 753 billion for protection programs.
- In parallel, the record of the increases as a whole is $105.3 and $13.3 billion, which compared to FY 2021 is well above.
- Similarly, Shalanda Young, Acting Director of the Office of Management and Budget said the White House intends to build a solid foundation for the future after the pandemic-induced economic downturn.
- The budget also includes $36 billion for high-poverty public school grants, $6.5 billion for research projects, and $14 billion to address climate change.
- At a time when the nation’s economy is just beginning to get back on its feet after the devastation of covid-19 the budget is quite ambitious and prioritizes unneeded spending with highly quantifiable sums of money.
- After the press questioned the White House over the budget submission, the budget finally arrives, blaming its delay on former President Donald Trump.
- Economists who are experts in budget policies claim that the nation’s public spending exceeds the state’s revenue from taxes and other economic activities.
