- (General Dispatch) – House of Representatives member Chip Roy told the media that Mexican cartels are becoming more involved and profitable at the U.S. border.
- As a result of the policies adopted by the Biden administration, illegal immigrants are being manipulated by human traffickers who are members of the cartels.
- The influence of the Mexican mafias has increased and all because Biden has not wanted to apply strict measures to help reduce the levels of delinquency, so the security of the nation is in danger.
- Roy reported through the media outlet Breitbart Texas that in his visits to the border, he maintained communication with border authorities and immigrants, thus obtaining information from both sectors.
- Both agreed that the influence of the cartels is affecting security, endangering the lives of agents and the immigrants themselves; however Biden’s hopeful messages have been one of the factors in the increase of border crossings.
- Roy said, “I understand people who want their children to have a chance in the United States, I mean, who doesn’t, I understand that. But let’s also keep in mind what we’re doing to our neighbors to the south.”
- On the other hand Roy said that Biden should strengthen the countries of Central and South America, to have a consolidated hemisphere, and thus not be benefiting the cartels, allowing them to continue to carry out crimes with impunity.
