- (General Dispatch) – Media have reported through an interview with Meghan’s friend, she said that the Duchess of Sussex may forgive the royal family, but she was not sure whether to attend the funeral of Prince Philip.
- Apparently Meghan commented that she did not want to participate in the funeral, and thus avoid some media fuss, after she and her partner Prince Harry, had singled out the royal family as “racist.”
- According to the media outlet Daily Mail reported through the source that the Duchess of Sussex would wait for her husband’s opinion, if necessary she will attend the funeral without any problems despite the tensions.
- “It is during these times that the family must come together, put aside their differences and unite as one,” she said. She said this is what Prince Philip would want and that she is willing to forgive and move on,” Meghan said.
- However, Prince Harry decided to make the flight from the U.S. to England alone, and the Duchess stayed at home, even so the expectation remains that the Duchess will decide to make the trip.
- So far, Queen Elizabeth II only made a statement about the interview with Oprah, after the accusation made by Meghan, the Queen said she was arguing false information.
- It should be noted that Meghan’s accusation does not refer specifically to any member of the Royal family, nevertheless tension has been created, even so the bond and affection of the Duchess towards Prince Philip has been maintained.
