Russian Government Intends to end the life of Opposition Leader Navalny

  • By Steph. G. Halston.
  • (General Dispatch) – Anastasia Vasilyeva, the doctor in charge of oppositionist Alexei Navalny’s care, has expressed concern as Russian authorities have not allowed access to perform routine examinations on him.
  • The oppositionist had begun a hunger strike in protest against the decadent services provided to him by the Kremlin government despite the fact that he had requested proper medical care for his condition.
  • The Kremlin has apparently tried to release the report revealing the opponent’s health, however it has pointed out that the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has prevented them from being made public, being a strategy to destabilize Russian society.
  • Vasilyeva said that a consultation for Navalny had already been arranged, “When we called with a request to examine the patient, we were told to come with passports at 8 am. We were not allowed in.”
  • So far the state of health is unknown; the dealings with the opponent have worsened, as the Russian government detained him apparently for having violated the parole imposed on him.
  • On the other hand, the opponent has alleged that the Russian government is trying to end his life, and there have already been several attempts, since the poisoning that was carried out against him.
  • Such accusations have been denied by the Kremlin, but investigations are still ongoing, according to Navalny’s team, which has evidence to prove that the assassination attempt comes directly from members of the government linked to President Putin.
  • Navalny has asked for help after presenting problems with his right leg, which he has only been given painkillers to treat, the opponent said “If I put my weight on my right leg, I fall. That’s a bit disturbing. Lately I’ve gotten used to my right leg and I’d hate to lose it”.
