Mark Robinson: Calling It An Insult That People of African Descent Continue to Be Targeted by Democrats

  • By John Deloria
  • (General Dispatch) – Mark Robinson, lieutenant governor of North Carolina, said Thursday that it is a totally absurd insult for Democrats to point to black Americans as incapable.
  • It should be noted that Robinson was invited to the House Judiciary Committee hearing to testify on “Voting Rights Act Oversight,” a matter strictly related to the evolution of electoral discrimination.
  • First, he emphasized that both Democrats and the left in general are pushing voter ID laws as a racially discriminatory measure against black people.
  • In retrospect, the lieutenant governor emphasized the acts of discrimination that for years have placed people of African descent on the margins of society, and which are intended to remain implicit in the social context.
  • Robinson also urged the audience to transform their stance and leave aside the white supremacy that has caused considerable harm to people.
  • The mixture of politics and systemic racism are two aspects that induce society to propitiate discriminatory acts, which if acted upon, could be reversed.
  • The electoral legislation pursues an objective that brings with it more systemic racism as long as it is intended to displace the black population when they are considered incapable, Robinson assured.
  • In conclusion, it is of utmost importance that the governments focus on incorporating black Americans into the electoral process as ordinary civilians, instead of encouraging foreign immigrants to take a place in our country.
