- (General Dispatch) – The Chinese media Global Times has reported that the CCP has given approval for 3 biosafety level 4 laboratories to be built in Wuhan.
- It is anticipated that the new labs will have permission to handle even more dangerous pathogens, it should be noted that there is the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) where before covid-19 conducted studies on bats.
- Although the CCP has tried to deflect information about possible finger pointing against WIV about the possible cause of covid-19, they insist that the virus did not occur in the city of Wuhan.
- For now, the Global Times has created a story blaming U.S. laboratories, including the U.S. Army facility at Fort Detrick, Maryland as the cause of covid-19, despite having no evidence whatsoever.
- The Chinese government has warned that the media is conspiring against it, trying to alert the international community that the real culprit behind the start of the pandemic was the leakage of the virus in one of its laboratories.
- “The microbes in a BSL-4 level laboratory are dangerous and exotic, and present a high risk of aerosol-borne infections. Infections caused by these microbes are often fatal and without treatment or vaccines such as Ebola and Marburg,” the CDC said.
- The Chinese government said that the construction of more laboratories is necessary for the safety of the nation to be able to have defense for future pandemics, although no details were given, so far it is unknown how many laboratories China has.
- The actions of the Chinese government have been relevant, the former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, spoke out and said that indeed, in the Chinese country was the origin of the virus.
