China Seeks Revenge Against the UK and the EU

  • By James Kravitz
  • (General Dispatch) – China’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement in response to the sanctions imposed by the United Kingdom and the European Union, following the genocide that the CCP has been committing against the Uyghur ethnic group.
  • Several nations will apply direct sanctions against CCP officials, as well as restrictions on the Public Security Bureau of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
  • These sanctions have been a hard blow for China, which had not received blockades from the European Union and the United Kingdom in more than 30 years, after having committed violent acts against different ethnic groups in western Xinjiang.
  • According to different media, the CCP has been accused of creating concentration camps where different ethnic groups have been subjected to crimes against humanity.
  • China through the Global Times has tried to persuade the international press claiming that they are innocent of any act committed in the Xinjiang region, and the concentration camps is to prevent these ethnic groups from becoming extremist groups.
  • The Uyghur ethnic group coexists with other small ethnic groups from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan being Muslim majority, for this reason the Chinese authorities are against the culture they practice.
  • On the other hand, China in response to the sanctions also issued blockades for officials of the European Union and the United Kingdom, pointing out that they issue disinformation to different media in order to affect the interests of the CCP.
  • According to Benedict Rogers via Hong Kong Watch, he said that these measures are not enough “We need to see stronger and more targeted sanctions and a complete recalibration of China’s policy on both the EU and the UK.”
