- The constant migration is seen by the president of the nation as a moral issue, and the risk posed by people coming from countries that present anomalies in their economic and social policies is not contemplated.
- It should be noted that the government is interested in providing asylum or refuge for these people, leaving aside the contraction of the labor supply and the overpopulation that is also included.
- One of the benefits that would result from the entry of immigrants to the country is an increase in the labor supply for companies, which would pay well below the market price to migrants.
- The Democratic Party is quite anxious about the aspirations that Mayorkas’ policies are spreading.
- The issue that for days has been present in the main newspapers does not seem to have an end. The debate is still in question, but without stopping the flow of people at the border.
- However, the radical opposition of the Democratic senators to the decisions of the White House has not been long in coming, since they know the consequences that the new immigration policies will bring.
