- (General Dispatch) – White House press secretary Jen Psaki admitted that the Biden administration’s policies are attracting even more unaccompanied minors.
- Since Biden took office, chaos has begun at the border where large numbers of immigrants have attempted to cross the border in addition to children being detained unaccompanied.
- Another problem that the Biden administration has faced is that it has prevented the DHS from issuing any information without the approval of the White House, which has generated internal conflicts within the agency.
- Psaki somehow in her statement tried to justify Biden’s policies by focusing on immigrant children, “We recognize that, but we made a policy decision because we felt it was the humane approach” said the secretary.
- More than 4,000 children are being held in DHS facilities while they are transferred to health and human services centers to open a proceeding to determine what solution to apply to the minors.
- Psaki has refused to admit to any border crisis, and supports Biden’s policies as having great solutions to any problems at the border.
- Many immigrants saw it as a “hope” since Biden took office, hoping that immigration policies would be even lighter compared to the Trump Administration, who enforced Title 42 and deported more than 400,000 immigrants.
