López Obrador: Expectations Created by Biden Have Caused the Border Crisis

  • By Anton Grillo
  • (General Dispatch) – Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador blamed U.S. President Joe Biden for generating a migratory and humanitarian crisis through the imposed policies that attract millions of people to cross the border.
  • López Obrador pointed out that “Expectations were created that with President Biden’s administration there would be a better treatment of migrants”, a fact that triggered the wave of migrants that day by day try to cross the border believing in the call and the ease to achieve the goal.
  • Likewise, he emphasized that Latinos do not go to the United States on a whim, they are looking for a better quality of life, forced by necessity, and this type of call inspires them to come to the country.
  • The Mexican Foreign Minister asked Biden’s envoy to Mexico City to take the appropriate measures to stop the humanitarian crisis at the border.
  • Meanwhile, Joe Biden’s administration in recent days blamed former President Donald Trump for the border crisis. A statement that leaves the nation speechless after it will crush the effective policies of the former administration.
  • Undoubtedly, only three months into Biden’s term, reality speaks without using any words.
  • Consequently, not only national agencies have expressed their dissatisfaction with such actions, now other governments are also pointing it out, but the indifference remains the same.
  • The decisions emanating from the White House not only affect the United States, now it also has repercussions in Mexican territory due to the arrival of more Central Americans to their country, Obrador assured.
