Reporters Express Outrage Against Biden for Curtailing Their Right to Report on the Border

• (General Dispatch) – In a press release, the Society of Professional Journalists urged President Biden and DHS to lift the measure that obstructs the media’s access to the border to carry out their work.

• The statement made special emphasis on the need for the press to keep citizens informed, in addition to being a legitimate right.

• For this reason, it demands that Joe Biden’s administration consider the measure and quickly grant full freedom to the media to report on the crisis at the border.

• It is evident that the current administration is making an effort to curtail the right to inform and be informed, after having scoffed that freedom of the press would have arrived at the White House with the new president.
