- (General Dispatch) – Senate Democrats rejected a resolution introduced by Congressman Jim Inhofe declaring that the current flow of immigrants into the country constitutes a “crisis”.
- The rejection of the Democratic Senators does not mean that they are avoiding reality, since a recent poll revealed that 76% of voters indicate that the situation at the border is a “crisis”.
- Jim Inhofe noted that from the border to the farthest corners of the nation, they recognize that this is a clear crisis. But he said that President Biden and the Secretary of Homeland Security do not agree.
- So much so that the border situation has been labeled a “challenge. But the reality is that we are in the midst of a crisis,” Inhofe said.
- Shockingly, the resolution was supported by at least 21 Republican senators, who are planning a trip to the southern border of Texas to verify each of the facts.
- In any case, the senators informed that their trip to the border would not be accompanied by the press, and that the numbers they are handling are around 173% of immigrant detentions at the border.
- Given the constant concern about the obstruction of the media to report on the border, the senator alleged that “they seek to hide the reality and that the media can report effectively”.
- Ultimately, the crisis continues in free fall and the evidence presented showing immigrant children permeating in cages unleashed the fury of many U.S. citizens.
