- (General Dispatch) – The U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) welcomed Thursday the White House administration’s offer of $250 million of its funds to support Palestinian refugees.
- The group called UNRWA is pleased with the partnership with the United States to assist people who are refugees in the Middle East.
- Notably, the Biden administration celebrates an agreement that overcomes the measure imposed in 2018 that prohibits financial resources from American taxpayers to support Palestine.
- The nation’s economists, affirm that these agreements come at a time when barely the United States is trying to emerge from an economic recession.
- Equally important, the White House had kept quiet about aspirations to support Palestine until it has the backing of other members.
- The breakdown of economic aid would be structured by $75 million in assistance for the West Bank, $10 million for consolidation programs, and $150 million in humanitarian assistance.
- Consequently, significant financial cuts were made to the UNRWA group in the Trump era for supporting terrorist attacks.
- Finally, Israel shows great concern over new U.S. alliances providing financial support. While, the country’s economy degrades the funds go to unimportant works.
